09/24/07 - From Jambands.com:

[L]ast Friday Mike Gordon, Steve Kimock and area resident Bill Kreutzmann played an informal gig on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. The trio, who toured together in 2006 as part of the Rhythm Devils, dipped into both the Grateful Dead songbook (“Cumberland Blues,” “The Other One” and “US Blues") and Gordon’s solo canon (“Car Carrier Blues,” “Weekly Time” and “Foundation”), with Gordon supplying vocals throughout the night. In addition, the ad hoc group ran through an extremely eclectic mix of cover songs, including The Police’s “So Lonely,” Van Morrison’s “Into The Mystic,” Taj Mahal’s “She Caught The Katy,” Sam Cooke’s “Bring It On Home,” the Bobby Blue Bland’s version of “Goin Down Slow,” Hank Williams’ “Lost Highway,” Prince’s “Alphabet Street,” Los Lobos’ “I Got Loaded,” Toots and the Maytals’ “Pressure Drop,” Townes Van Zandt’s “White Freightliner,” Jim Reeves’ “Lookin' at the World Through a Windshield,” The Meters’ “Just Kissed My Baby” and the Rolling Stones’ “No Expectations,” among others.
